As professional logisticians we are fascinated, some might say obsessed, with numbers, data and trends. Here is one to consider. 11%. This number is from the Morgan Stanley/Parcel Magazine Annual Survey. It states “Although companies who use consultants to negotiate rates have deeper discounts still only 11% of companies use them (the same percent as in 2006.)”
